Russell-Fields Pier

For those visiting Panama City Beach and wanting to literally tackle the area, fishing tackle that is, there are several tried and proven fishing piers all along the coast from Escambia and Santa Rosa to Bay and Gulf Counties, where possible catches range from killer cobia, king and Spanish mackerel, flounder, red fish, and pompano, just to name a few.  Piers range in size from extending only a few hundred feet out, to the bigger ones like Russell-Fields Pier, also known as the City Pier, in Panama City Beach. The longest pier on the coast, the City Pier extends out 1500 feet into the deeper blue water, and is ideally located directly across from Pier Park, a local dining and shopping hotspot.

Come on out and see why Panama City Beach is considered as one of the premiere fishing desinations on the coast!
